Knaus Van TI & Van TI Plus Motorcycle Carrier Chassis Mounting Kit

The Knaus Van TI & Van TI Plus Motorcycle Carrier Chassis Mounting Kit is a vehicle-specific connection solution designed for installing a motorcycle carrier on compatible Knaus motorhomes.

The product includes two selectable vehicle configurations. PRF-VT-078 is supplied for Knaus Van TI models, while PRF-VTP-073 is supplied for Knaus Van TI Plus models. The correct vehicle model must be selected when ordering.

The maximum permissible motorcycle carrier load depends on the vehicle condition, rear chassis structure, rear axle capacity, permitted gross vehicle weight, rear overhang and applicable legal limits. The stated 250 kg capacity must not override the vehicle manufacturer’s permitted axle and loading limits.

This product contains only the vehicle mounting kit. The motorcycle carrier platform, front wheel locking system and other accessories are sold separately.

Installation

The mounting brackets are installed using the vehicle’s existing rear chassis or chassis-extension mounting points. Welding is not required.

Professional installation is recommended. The exact Knaus model, production year, base vehicle, body structure, rear chassis extension and available mounting points must be checked before installation.

Surface protection and colour options

Natural Galvanised

The standard version is protected by hot-dip galvanising for durable corrosion resistance.

Black

The Black option uses the same hot-dip galvanised base with an additional surface coating and electrostatic powder paint for a durable and uniform black finish.
